Chaffe McCall Continues Growth of its Insurance Practice, Welcoming Rachel Meese to its New Orleans Office

NEW ORLEANS, LA (April 2022) – The New Orleans office of Chaffe McCall, L.L.P. recently welcomed Rachel Meese as a Partner to serve clients in its key practice areas of Insurance, Appellate, and Litigation.

Rachel joins a growing team of nationally recognized insurance attorneys at Chaffe MCCall with a long history of representing domestic and international clients in insurance coverage and defense matters. The firm recently welcomed attorneys David Pote and Valerie Moss Andrews as associates in the firm’s Insurance Practice Group.  David and Valerie are assisting clients in complex insurance matters involving litigation, risk assessment and analysis, coverage, risk transfer, and regulatory issues.

 

About Rachel Meese

Rachel further strengthens the Firm’s attorneys in key industries, especially in the insurance market. Throughout her career, Rachel has provided guidance to clients on a broad range of issues in civil cases, including insurance defense, insurance coverage, class actions, and mass tort litigation.  She has experience in drafting, responding to, and arguing discovery and dispositive motions in court and arbitration proceedings. Rachel has represented clients in state and federal appellate courts, as well as in insurance coverage consulting and litigation matters, including bad-faith claims.

Rachel received her undergraduate degree from San Jose State University, summa cum laude, and graduated from Tulane Law School cum laude. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana and previously worked as a Staff Attorney for the Louisiana Supreme Court.
