Biz New Orleans recently interviewed Chaffe McCall Labor & Employment Partner Sarah Voorhies Myers on workplace protections under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.  Reporter Jessica Rosgaard spoke to Myers about how courts have recently ruled to expand those protections to cover sexual orientation discrimination and what companies should do.   The article, “Title VII: You Don’t Want to Be the Test Case,” is featured in the July 2018 edition.  Myers is quoted as saying “There’s a bit of a circuit split, which is why I think a lot of employment lawyers like myself think at some point the Supreme Court is going to take up this issue so we get some consistency.”
