Thirty-One Leading Law Firms Team Up With Chaffe McCall to Help the Good Times Roll

Chaffe McCall is again proud to join forces with many major New Orleans law firms to support the LIFT (Lawyer Initiatives for Tomorrow) program.  Over the past three years, LIFT has partnered with community groups to tackle several cultural and economic challenges.  Recently, LIFT raised $21,500 to support the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation’s Adopt-a-Cop program for the 2023 Mardi Gras parade season.

“We’re proud that the legal community has come together to support our police officers to safeguard Mardi Gras, one of the most celebrated events in New Orleans,” said Douglas Holmes, Managing Partner.  This is a concrete way to show our appreciation for what police officers do during this season and to ensure that our visitors and residents get to celebrate Mardi Gras as safely as possible.

This past weekend was the start of parades in New Orleans, and the money raised helped to provide hot meals, snacks, and beverages for NOPD officers working around the clock to keep the streets safe and enjoyable for carnival revelers.
