Chaffe McCall Elevates Amy McIntire to Partner

New Orleans, LA (November 19, 2019) – Chaffe McCall is pleased to announce that Amy McIntire has been elected as a Partner.  Amy joined Chaffe McCall in 2013 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation group, where she focuses her practice on product-liability defense.  She also serves as a member of the firm’s national Labor and Employment group.

About Amy McIntire

Amy has extensive experience defending companies in Louisiana and other jurisdictions and has served as first- and second-chair trial attorney in trials in both Louisiana state and federal courts.  Amy has the distinction of serving as second-chair trial attorney in the longest criminal trial in the history of the Eastern District of Louisiana, a six-week racketeering trial, in which she conducted voir dire, gave the opening statement, cross-examined multiple witnesses, and assisted in securing a “not guilty” verdict on homicide charges against the client.

Amy’s product-liability matters have involved surgical and other medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and fire- protection systems.  She has served as the lead associate in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, mass and multi-district litigation.  Amy also has experience representing employers and management in labor and employment litigation.  She has served as lead associate in employment discrimination and harassment cases, Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions, breach- of- contract and restrictive- covenant litigation, and administrative proceedings.

Louisiana Super Lawyers recognized Amy as a “Rising Star” in 2018-2019, and she was recently appointed by PLAC as a member of the 2019 Future Leaders Group.  She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School in 2013.  She graduated, magna cum laude with departmental honors and received a B.S. in Management from Tulane University in 2010 with a double major in Legal Studies in Business and English.
