Chaffe McCall Bolsters Tax and Insurance Practices with the Addition of Attorney Ryan Toups and Associate Estelle Eiserloh

New Orleans, LA – Chaffe McCall LLP proudly announces the return of distinguished attorney Ryan C. Toups to its New Orleans office and the arrival of accomplished Associate Estelle C. Eiserloh. The addition of these talented lawyers marks a significant milestone in the firm’s ongoing commitment to provide exceptional legal counsel to its clients.

Ryan Toups has significant experience in complex transactions and taxation. He advises clients on a variety of commercial issues, including corporate, limited liability company, partnership formations, mergers, acquisitions, buy-outs, and liquidations.  Ryan is a Tax Law Specialist certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2005. During that time, he was the assistant editor and writer for the Civilian Society Newsletter. Following law school, Ryan earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006.

Joining Ryan at Chaffe McCall’s New Orleans office is Associate Estelle C. Eiserloh, whose dedication to excellence and passion for clients make her a valuable asset to the firm. Estelle’s background in insurance litigation complements the firm’s diverse practice areas and enhances its ability to address the evolving needs of its clients. Estelle obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2018.  She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane Law School in 2022, specializing in Civil Law. During her time at Tulane, Estelle served as the Senior Notes and Comments Editor for Tulane’s International and Comparative Law Journal. Additionally, she actively contributed to the community through her involvement in Tulane’s Domestic Violence Law Clinic, providing vital pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence in Louisiana. 

Ryan and Estelle join Chaffe McCall at a time of significant growth for the firm. Recently, the firm proudly welcomed seasoned attorney Dave Oppermann as a Partner in its Litigation and Insurance Practice Groups in Houston. Dave’s extensive experience across diverse legal domains, including maritime, renewable energy, construction, transportation, and finance, further enriches the firm’s depth of knowledge and client offerings.
