Sarah Myers to Chair the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Committee

Congratulations to Partner, Sarah Voorhies Myers, on being chosen for 2021-2022 as Chair of the Labor and Employment Committee for the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.  Sarah is a Partner in Chaffe McCall’s Labor and Employment Section.  She is an experienced federal court litigator, regularly defending nationwide, regional and local clients in employment lawsuits involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.  These cases have ranged from single-plaintiff cases to nationwide collective actions.


About New Orleans Federal Bar Association’s Committee Chair

The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is one of the oldest chapters in the country, having been chartered in 1937, and currently is the largest chapter with over 1100 members.  Practice Area and Special Interest Committees are comprised of Chapter members who do not sit on the Board of Directors of the Chapter. The President of the Chapter appoints Committee Chairs.  Committees provide benefits, programs, and services to its members that promote members’ professional growth.
