Prior to joining Chaffe McCall, Sandra worked as staff counsel for a Fortune 100 insurance company, handling hundreds of property and casualty cases throughout Texas and Louisiana. She has represented individuals, corporations, non-profit organizations, sureties, and insurers in pre-suit investigations, litigation, trial, and appellate proceedings. Sandra’s breadth of experience includes obtaining a defense verdict for a law enforcement K-9 training facility she represented in a one-week-long jury trial in Louisiana. Her diverse experience and practical approach to problem-solving enable her to provide successful resolution strategies to clients while minimizing the impact on their businesses.

Sandra earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where she served as Senior Notes & Comments Editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and as a Senior Legal Research and Writing Fellow. While attending law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Lance Africk, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Sheri Polster Chappell, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Sandra received her B.M. from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, graduating with honors and earning a membership in the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honors Society.
