G. Wogan Bernard Elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers

(New Orleans, LA) – Chaffe McCall L.L.P. is pleased to announce that G. Wogan Bernard, a partner in the firm’s New Orleans office, has been elected to membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).  ACREL is considered to be the country’s leading honorary organization for U.S. practicing real estate attorneys.  Election to the college is by invitation only through a rigorous evaluation process.    Lawyers are selected for their integrity, outstanding legal ability, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

Wogan is the Practice Area Coordinator of Chaffe McCall’s Business and Real Estate section.   New Orleans City Business recently selected him as a “Leadership in Law” honoree.  Wogan was also honored as the 2018 Mortgage Banking Foreclosure Law “Lawyer of the Year” for New Orleans.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and serves as the ACMA State Chair for Louisiana. He is an active member of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Real Estate Finance Group and a member of the CLE Committee of the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law.  Wogan’s clients include banks, pension funds, private equity funds, REITs and developers.
