Sean Brennan is a Partner in Chaffe McCall’s Houston office who advises a wide range of clients in litigation matters specific to:

Sean has significant experience in mass tort cases and multi-district litigation. He has led crisis response teams and provided counsel following catastrophic events for oil and gas companies and chemical manufacturing clients facing intense environmental and regulatory scrutiny. He has also handled a wide variety of Jones Act and admiralty cases for clients engaged in all stages of offshore operations and exploration.

Sean’s knowledge and experience have enabled him to work with clients from diverse industries. He has been a part of numerous successful trial teams, including high-profile matters such as the Phase One trial of In re Deepwater Horizon on behalf of an oilfield services client, which secured the party’s dismissal at the close of the plaintiffs’ case.

Before joining Chaffe McCall, Sean practiced at several international law firms.  Alongside his extensive litigation experience, Sean has remained dedicated to pro bono work throughout his career. He has served in leadership roles, allowing him to assist individuals without access to legal representation if not for his pro bono efforts.

Sean received his JD from South Texas College of Law in 2009 and his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006
