During his tenure as Managing Partner of Chaffe McCall from 2014 through 2019, E. Howell Crosby helped guide the firm through strategic growth while enhancing the service the firm provides in a way that remains focused on its clients.  With over thirty-nine years of experience representing clients nationally and locally, he approaches each client’s need to identify practical resolutions to complicated legal issues. Chambers USA describes Howell as an “expert in his field” and “notable figure in the Louisiana real estate Bar,” who is “able to convert legalese to everyday language.”  Howell frequently represents developers and lenders on a wide range of real estate matters across retail, housing, and commercial sectors.

He is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and Mississippi.  He has represented clients with the acquisition, divestiture, development, leasing, and financing of automobile dealerships, shopping centers, office buildings, apartments, industrial sites, timberland, condominiums, timeshare, assisted and independent living facilities, low-income housing, restaurant, and hotel developments. He has represented numerous companies and individuals in connection with a wide spectrum of commercial transactions, including:
