Alex DeGiulio is an attorney in Chaffe McCall’s New Orleans office who offers a personal commitment to each matter he handles. As an associate practicing with the firm’s Admiralty & Maritime section, he provides value to clients by incorporating thorough knowledge of legal and business trends.

Alex earned his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2018 and received a Maritime Law Certificate from Tulane University Law School. While attending law school, he served as Managing Editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, the Executive Chair for the Tulane Environmental Law and Policy Summit, and as a board member of the Tulane Moot Court Board. In his third year of law school, Alex practiced under a limited student-attorney license with the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic, where he gained valuable experience drafting an amicus brief subsequently submitted to the United States Supreme Court. Alex served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and as a legal intern in the United States Coast Guard, Eighth District Legal Office. Alex graduated cum laude from Bucknell University in 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Environmental Studies. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar.
