William H. Langenstein, III Joins Chaffe McCall
William H. Langenstein, III has joined Chaffe McCall's New Orleans office effective immediately. Langenstein formerly served as managing member of Langenstein and Associates, A.P.L.L.C. which recently merged with Chaffe McCall.
With over three decades of experience, Langenstein has extensive experience in taxation, real estate and both corporate and business law. Langenstein currently serves as a honorary consul to the Rebulic of Korea. He is a member of the New Orleans Estate Planning Counsel and is a past Chairman of the Louisiana Bar Association, Section of Taxation. He is also on the board of several companies, including Koerner Capital, L.L.C.; IBERIABANK; Geocent, L.L.C.; and the Kavanagh Family Foundation.
Dedicated to his community, Langenstein is a member of the New Orleans Economic Development Advisory Committee, the Louisiana Children's Museum Early Learning Village Steering Committee and the Metropolitan Crime Commission. Langenstein also serves on several non-profit and community boards. Including Collegiate Academics, the charter management organization that manages the New Orleans Academy for Science and Mathematics, the Greater New Orleans Development Foundation and Trinity Episcopal School among others. He is a former board member and past board president of the New Orleans Board of Trade, WYES-TV and the Louisiana Children's Museum. Langenstein is a 2004 graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute and a former board member of the National Kidney Foundation.

Langenstein earned a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of New Orleans in 1977 and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1974. Langenstein is a board certified tax attorney, a licensed title insurance agent and a certified public accountant. He is admitted to practice law in Louisiana State Courts, the Eastern District of Louisiana's Federal Court and the United States Tax Court.
