Chaffe McCall strengthens its National Insurance Practice with the Addition of Recognized Attorneys Adelaida J. Ferchmin and Thomas H. Prince.

(New Orleans, LA) – Chaffe McCall L.L.P.  welcomes experienced attorneys Adelaida “Adi” J. Ferchmin and Thomas H. Prince to the firm’s Insurance Practice group.  Adi joins the New Orleans office as a Partner and Thomas joins the firm as an Associate attorney.

Adi will continue to represent domestic and international clients in insurance coverage and defense matters, including direct-action, bad faith, cargo, personal-injury, pollution, subrogation, and collision claims, in addition to her general litigation practice.  Thomas brings a strong insurance coverage background involving first-party property, bad faith, product-liability, premises liability, toxic tort, and personal-injury matters.

Adi and Thomas join Chaffe McCall during an exciting period of growth for the firm.  Recently, the firm welcomed high-profile attorney Leah Nunn Engelhardt as a Partner and Practice Area Coordinator for the firm’s Insurance Practice group.  Leah will be assisting clients in complex insurance matters involving insurance litigation, risk assessment and analysis, coverage, risk transfer, and regulatory issues.

“Adi and Thomas are welcome additions to our firm,” said Firm Managing Partner, E. Howell Crosby.  “Their experience complements our existing team of insurance attorneys and allows us to further provide services from a deep bench of attorneys with sophisticated corporate capabilities regionally and nationally.”
