In 2001, Ms. Vickers received a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law. She graduated cum laude and received the Walter J. Suthon, Jr. Award. In her senior year, she served as judicial extern to the Honorable Edith Brown Clement in the United States Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Ms. Vickers is a Partner in the Business and Real Estate Section. Her practice primarily includes commercial real estate transactions, condominium formation, business law and secured transactions. She has represented numerous lenders, developers, landlords and tenants in connection with the acquisition, divestiture, development, leasing, financing, loan modifications and workouts of shopping centers, office buildings, apartments, condominiums, restaurants and hotel developments. Ms.Vickers is an active member of AECRE (International Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate, www.aecre.org) and currently serves as the Chairman of this organization. She is also involved in the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), and the New Orleans CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women). She has served on the New Orleans CREW Program Committee (2004-2005), Sponsorship Committee (2006-2007) and Media Committee (2010-2011). Ms. Vickers is admitted to practice law in and a member of the bars of Louisiana and Mississippi.
