Lauren Venturatos Sharples was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1980 and attended St. Martin’s Episcopal School, graduating in 1998. In 2002, she graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art History.

Mrs. Sharples graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2006, earning both a Juris Doctorate degree and a Civil Law Certificate. While in law school she was the recipient of the CALI award in Obligations II and Community Property. Lauren is an associate in Chaffe McCall’s civil litigation section.
