Peter Rotolo was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1967. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1989 from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
In 1992, Mr. Rotolo received his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University. While attending law school, Mr. Rotolo was a member of the Moot Court Board and a semi-finalist in the Robert Tullis Moot Court Competition. Following graduation, he clerked for two years for the Honorable Pike Hall, Jr., Associate Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Chaffe, McCall, Mr. Rotolo had a civil litigation practice in North and Central Louisiana with a defense law firm in Shreveport. While practicing in Shreveport, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers' Section of the Shreveport Bar Association. Currently, Mr. Rotolo is a partner in the civil litigation section of Chaffe, McCall practicing products liability litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Rotolo has given continuing legal education presentations on topics involving complex litigation and trial preparation, including a presentation to the Defense Research Institute’s Products Liability Seminar Young Lawyer’s Session.
