Mr. Pigman was born in New Orleans in 1923, graduated from the Tulane University School of Law in 1952, and has practiced law with Chaffe, McCall for more than forty years. During that time he has accumulated experience in a broad range of legal matters, including oil and gas, real estate, financial transactions, the liability of directors of banks and business corporations, and bankruptcy. He has served as Chairman of the firm's Executive Committee and now is Of Counsel in the business and corporate section, in which capacity he supervises real estate and financial matters involving complex legal issues and also handles general corporate matters and the issuance of securities.

Mr. Pigman's experience includes a tenure as general counsel to D. H. Holmes Company, Limited and to the First National Bank of Commerce, where his responsibilities included advising the Board of Directors on various concerns and assisting the Bank with workouts on problem loans. He was lead counsel in the bankruptcies of Jackson Brewing Company and Theriot-MODEC Shipyards, Inc.
