Charles Donald Marshall III was born in New Orleans in 1972. He graduated from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. In 2001, Mr. Marshall received a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Order of the Coif.

Since joining Chaffe, McCall, Mr. Marshall has been an associate in the civil and commercial litigation sections. He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association.
