Mr. Blanchard was born in New Orleans in 1961 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans in 1983. Mr. Blanchard worked with a public accounting firm for two years prior to entering law school and maintains a Certified Public Accountant Certificate in the state of Louisiana. He graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University School of Law in 1988, where he served two years on the Tulane Moot Court Board and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Blanchard's practice areas include commercial litigation, corporate law, products liability and medical malpractice.  He also has experience in class action litigation.
