Mr. Benit was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1962. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 1985, Masters in Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Finance from Louisiana Tech in 1987, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1991, where we was a member of the Moot Court Board.

Mr. Benit’s primary areas of practice include general business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, and estate planning. Mr. Benit has been directly involved in an extensive number of mergers, as well as stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions.

Mr. Benit is a member of the Louisiana State and Mississippi Bar Association.
