On October 15, 2009, Conrad Meyer moderated an audio seminar entitled: Fundamentals of Physician Representation.  The teleconference focused on physician representation in a time with such intense regulatory scrutiny of physicians and their arrangements with hospitals, and when physicians are shareholders in health care entities, it is important to understand the challenges of representing physicians in business transactions.  The expert panel focused on issues relating to joint ventures (including Stark Law and anti-kickback concerns), the corporate practice of medicine, credentialing, managed care contracting, and other issues relevant to attorneys who represent physicians, including the following key areas including:
